BOXING: Jai Opetaia vs Mairis Briedis

The long-awaited cruiserweight world title bout is finally here.

Jai Opetaia (21-0, 17KOs)
vs
Mairis Breidis (28-1, 20KOs)

SATURDAY JULY 2
Live & Loud on mega screens from 7pm

The IBF declared that Cruiserweight champion Mairis Briedis must defend his world title against Australian Jai Opetaia!

Opetaia was the youngest boxer in Australian boxing history to qualify for the Olympic games (2012) at the age of 16. With a perfect professional boxing record of 21 wins from 21 fights, he now has his shot to become a world champion. Three-time world champion Breidis is a massive hurdle but a home crowd could get Opetaia across the line. Don’t miss it!
